4th September 2015 saw the successful pilot at the Pilton Party of the Glogg Stainless Steel Pint Cup. Manufactured by APS in Birmingham.
At this yearÂs Pilton Party, all pints of cider and real ale were sold in a UK manufactured, trading standards certified food grade stainless steel pint cup, featuring an etching of the Glastonbury logo.
The Glastonbury Team worked with British steel manufacturer APS Metal Pressings and Glogg to design and manufacture a cup which will help the reduction of single use cardboard cups at Glastonbury festival events giving environmental benefits especially reduction to landfill. It has been designed and manufactured particularly to replace the use of disposable cups and glasses.
