Aston University Research and Enterprise Office is holding an exhibition and networking event featuring a poster competition and showcase of our Innovate UK sponsored Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) and Collaborative R & D (CR&D) projects on Wednesday 29th March from 5-7pm.
The event is an opportunity to find out more about KTP and CR&D projects and to discover how engaging with a University could benefit your company. It is also an opportunity to find out about the variety of projects that Aston is currently involved with and how we are working in partnership with local and national companies for mutual benefit.
KTP is a UK-wide programme enabling businesses to improve their competitiveness, productivity and performance by accessing the knowledge and expertise available within UK Universities. KTPÂs can make a huge impact on the businesses involved. Innovate UK CR&D projects are established to solve specific technical or societal challenges. These are industry-led projects, typically involving a consortium of industrial and academic partners.
All of our current projects will display a poster and prizes will be awarded for the best posters by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Alec Cameron. There will also be a display of some recently completed projects and their impact as well as planned future projects. The event will be an excellent opportunity to network with some of Aston's world class academics, representatives from business and the teams who are working on the projects.
Venue: Aston University Conference Centre and Hotel, Aston Business School, Aston Triangle, Birmingham, B4 7ET
Time: 5.00pm- 7.00pm
Refreshments will be provided throughout.
