Bloodhound SSC will be coming to Walsall College on behalf of the Black Country UTC from Monday 30th June until Saturday 5th July.
The primary purpose is to recruit and inspire the next generation of engineers in the region. During the week schools from the region will be invited into the College to participate in workshops run by the Bloodhound team, alongside this 30 of our students will be designing and building replica model rocket cars which will be raced at the end of the week.
On Thursday 3rd July there will be an open evening until 7:00pm for new students and parents to come and meet staff and employers.
We would really appreciate if you or your staff, including apprentices, are able to help in any of the following:
Tuesday 1st July to Friday 4th July 9:00  12:30 or 1:30- 4:30 to help the students design and build the cars (even if you can only come for a couple of hours)
Thursday 3rd July 4:00pm  7:00pm to help with the open day talking to parents ( Stand to promote your business ) If possible bring apprentices.
All week feel free to drop in and have a look at the car.
