A recent article published on the Telegraph website looked at research conducted by an IP strategy company that found opportunities are lost and innovation stifled because of systemic IP problems. The study which included conversations with senior decision makers at companies such as BAE Systems, Siemens, Philips and Bayer concluded that the business world is neglecting IP rights and the benefits they provide despite the fact that such rights represent up to 70% of a company's value.Â
