Based in Leamington Spa, the company has grown turnover substantially over the past five years, expanded its services and has recently created six new jobs following the boom in business.
Last year it acquired two new translation companies, Accurate Translations and 1st Transnational, and extended its offering to include brand name analysis to ensure that branding is culturally appropriate in different countries.
With the ability to translate and interpret in more than 200 languages, combined with specialist knowledge of a wide variety of disciplines, Comtec has built up a reputation for accuracy, reliability, speed and business understanding.
Clients are drawn from many sectors including legal, medical, pharmaceutical, finance, oil and gas, engineering, automotive, scientific, retail and marketing.
Comtec Director, Sophie Howe, said: ÂTo a lot of our clients weÂre more than just a translation agency  weÂre their translation partner whom they trust to help them grow their business and drive sales in overseas markets.
ÂWe are delighted to have reached the finals of the Midlands Business Awards, which is testament to the professionalism, dedication and attention to detail of our highly-skilled staff.Â
