At this year's SPS IPC Drives exhibition in Nuremberg, Contrinex will present Photoelectric, Inductive, RFID and Machine Safety sensors that excel in performance and price as well as offering leadership in Industry 4.0 via IO-Link. - If you want a sneak peek of what is on display, plus even more products, click to Download the NEW Program Overview brochure
PHOTOELECTRIC MINIATURE SENSOR INSTEAD OF OPTICAL FIBRE
Self-contained IO-Link sensors in 4 mm and M5 sizes
Some applications cannot provide enough free space in which to fit typical photoelectric sensors, and hence optical fibres are often used despite their higher installation costs. Contrinex is launching new photoelectric sensors which, due to their extremely small size, are the ideal alternative.
APPLICATION HIGHLIGHT
C23 sensors with patented UV technology for high-speed presence control of transparent packaging trays
In an application to automatically package medical products in sterile conditions, conveyors deliver clear plastic tray bases to loading stations. Contrinex’s miniature 30mm x 20mm x 10mm transparent-object sensors with patented UV technology detect the presence of trays as they arrive, enabling the loading cycle to proceed without risk of a line stoppage occurring. Manual intervention is avoided, ensuring contamination-free, reliable operation with little or no downtime.
SWARF & CHIP-IMMUNE INDUCTIVE SENSORS Full Inox sensors are not influenced by swarf and chips of iron, aluminium, stainless steel, brass, copper or titanium Even when covered with chips of many types of metal, the new inductive sensors will reliably detect targets made of these metals. The sensors achieve this with a slightly modified form of Condet® technology. In a one-piece stainless steel housing with IP68 and IP69K protection rating and a wide operating temperature range from -25 to +85°C (-13 to +185°F), they are particularly suitable for use in the harsh environments of the machining industry. NEW GENERATION OF IO-LINK-ENABLED SMART SENSORS IO-Link inductive sensors with Smart Sensor Profile are easier to integrate into existing systems and can enhance maintenance strategies Contrinex announces a new generation of cloud-ready sensors that takes standardization to the next level. Thanks to their Smart Sensor Profile (SSP), data from these new inductive IO-Link sensors has a highly uniform structure for greater ease of integration into existing systems. In addition, they provide a range of pre-defined functions to enhance customers' preventive or predictive maintenance strategies. SUCCESS STORY RFID HF read/write modules with IO-Link More and more RFID customers are choosing Contrinex’s HF RWMs with IO-Link. This comes as no surprise at all to Norbert Matthes, Technical Sales Manager with Contrinex Sensor GmbH in Germany and RFID workshop specialist. Who better then to answer our questions and explain the special appeal of the IO-Link RWMs?
