ItÂs a huge year for Recycling Management Ltd, not only are we first-time Made in the Midlands supporters, we are also completely revamping our brand output and literature. ItÂs a huge undertaking for the Marketing Team and we are confident that our brand will be stronger than ever moving into the next few years.
In more personal news our Managing Director, Yvonne Manders, is turning the big 50 this year. As a business we have always supported charity but there was a feeling that this could be something really special. So, we are extremely proud to announce that we are sponsoring the ParkinsonÂs UK Birmingham Abseil Event in June.
The Event will take place at the Holiday Inn Express in Snow Hill, on 10th June - over 200ft tall and every bit as terrifying as it sounds! Our brave MD has offered to conquer her fear of heights and make her way down the side of the building in aid of ParkinsonÂs UK!
Yvonne had this to say when we cornered her whilst training for the big day:
ÂIÂm absolutely thrilled to be a part of this fantastic event and couldnÂt be more excited to spend my 50th birthday 200ft in the air for ParkinsonÂs UK!

Ahead of the Event we caught up with the ParkinsonÂs UK Regional Fundraiser for Birmingham and the Black Country, Gayle Kelly. HereÂs what she had to say:
ÂThere are over 12,000 people in the West Midlands alone who have been diagnosed with this condition and itÂs vital that we continue our research to find a cure and improve the lives of people living with ParkinsonÂs. We are so grateful to Recycling Management Ltd and especially Yvonne Manders for being extremely brave and tackling a drop of over 200ft, all in support of our charity.
