Filtermist International Limited were the hosts of the latest sell-out Made in the Midlands Breakfast event on 8th September in Telford, Shropshire.

Filtermist manufactures and markets oil mist filters and smoke, fume and dust extraction equipment for all types of manufacturing and engineering processes. In the UK, Filtermist also offers an extensive after-sales support service including maintenance agreements, air monitoring and LEV testing to ensure customers remain compliant with COSHH regulations.

Over 65 representatives of the Midlands manufacturing sector attended their stunning facility, to learn more about how Filtermist can ensure the reduction in oil mist, smoke, fume and dust particles from their processes.

Filtermist Managing Director, James Stansfield stated: “It's been very successful and very interesting. I’ve already spoken to a lot of attendees, some who Filtermist may be able to do business with from a purchasing point of view and also some from a selling point of view.”

Made in the Midlands facilitate networking events to provide manufacturers with a platform to showcase their business and develop new connections within the sector. Filtermist delivered a company presentation and a factory tour, as Stansfield explained: “The practical side of the business is what engineers want to see. We had a video which I hope was good, as it showed people exactly how our product worked. I think most attendees were waiting for the moment they could go out into the factory.”

Filtermist split attendees into separate groups for the factory tour, to ensure that everybody was provided with a detailed insight into exactly how their factory operates. Stansfield said: “I was amazed by the amount of attendees. I had no idea that this many people would attend, so it's been a fantastic turnout which has made it worthwhile. A lot of people put a considerable amount of effort into it, so it was great for them to see their hard work pay off.”

Our next Breakfast Networking Event will take place at Walsall Pressings which has already sold out to their full capacity. Frank Dudley Ltd will be hosting a special charity breakfast event in support of Macmillan Cancer on 30th September and tickets are still available.
