H T Brigham has secured a lucrative contract with a brand new customer, having assisted with the design of an innovative product for the electronics sector. The project, which is worth in the region of £50,000 to the presswork firm with additional product in the pipeline, allows H T Brigham to compete in a brand new market sector and shows that the manufacturerÂs design led approach has yet again helped the firm to secure new business.
When the customer initially approached H T Brigham, they had a rough idea of the type of component required, but H T Brigham were able to assist with elements of component design, best method of manufacture or most appropriate material, in order to achieve the desired result.
Managing Director, Barry Smith, said, ÂH T Brigham had to work to a strict 12 week deadline, so that our customer could meet a planned product launch at a major trade show. To achieve this, it was imperative that H T Brigham gained a thorough understanding of the customer requirements, implemented a stringent timing plan and maintained frequent communications

Following a two stage prototype development phase, product trials and a successful launch,
H T BrighamÂs customer is optimistic about the future. With volume component production orders now imminent, H T Brigham is pleased to have been involved in the development of an innovative new product both designed and manufactured in the UK.
