The event marked the very first breakfast event for I M Kelly, yet the event created a great opportunity for the business, as Rose stated: ÂThere was a person I met today, who IÂm extremely interested in doing business with, I donÂt know how you teach this, but talk about right place at the right time, there is a particular project that I am working on as of Monday, which absolutely demands the skills that this company has offered, they are local and Made in the Midlands members and I will be seeing them next week.Â

Made in the Midlands breakfast events aim to facilitate networking and business opportunities between MDÂs and CEOÂs of local manufacturing companies, as Rose added: ÂThese events are great, because in the Midlands, particularly with automotive, we all tend to be fishing in the same pond.
ÂFor example, whatever is going on with the OEMÂs, it might be nice to share some of the experiences of what the other suppliers are going through. Because you may be able to bring together an experience that you have had, such as a cost down initiative etc. so you can share that joy and it is really nice. It can be a lonely place at the top of the business at times, so if you have like-minded individuals in the same room it can ease the pressure.Â
