Innovation in the UK
In the coming months, the IET and MIA will explore the opportunities for innovation within the UK business technology community. Paul Branton, Business Development Manager at Jonathan Lee Recruitment commented on the launch event at IET London: ÂThis showcase is the first of many initiatives to come in 2016 including a new joint innovation programme which will unlock funding and support and will open to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with proposals formed upon the use of wholly or mostly pre-existing technology. It is great to see leading industry bodies like IET and MIA continuing to drive progress and recognition of the UKÂs engineering capabilities.Â
