Dr. Janet Hope, research assistant at LVH Coatings received the inaugural Pexa Award for the Âbest paper on organic finishing published in the IMFÂs Transactions. The award was presented by Jim Rowbotham of Pexa at the IMFÂs Annual General Meeting.
The paper, entitled ÂLight in weight: UV curing paint systems increase the versatility of plastics in weight saving applicationsÂ, was originally presented at the IMFÂs TransFair transportation coatings conference at the Heritage Motor Museum in Gaydon in June 2013.
Dr. Hope is presenting another paper, ÂElectrophoretic coating of PTFE onto conductive plastics at the forthcoming IMF conference IMFair 2015 at the Black Country Living Museum on June 9th and 10th 2015. The following week she will part of the LVH team exhibiting at the Plastics Design and Moulding (PDM) show in Telford where LVHÂs advanced paint technology for coating plastics will be highlighted.
