In order to support our established and experienced workforce, we have identified an opportunity for a warehouse apprentice based in Manchester.
Job purpose:
To assist in the warehouse facility, with the issue and receipt of goods and services.
Duties:
- Meet
department goals, ensuring safety and security of all assets held in the
facility.
- To
ensure that the companyÂs Health and safety at Work Policy is adhered to.
- Maintain
a safe and clean work environment.
- Prepare
orders by processing requests.
- Packing
boxes and placing orders in the delivery area.
- Check
incoming product against delivery note.
- Where
certified operate Fork Lift Truck.
- Undertake
other similar duties that may be assigned to you
- Skills/Qualifications:
- Basic
literacy and numeracy
- Previous
warehouse experience would be ideal
- Teamwork,
coordination and organisation
- Reporting
skills and inventory control
- Dependability
and time management
