MHA MacIntyre Hudson, whose Birmingham office is located in the Colmore Business District, is enjoying a double celebration this month. A successful year of trading saw revenues for the firm across the fourteen offices rise by 13% to £50.6m and resulted in MHA MacIntyre Hudson moving up to 16th place in the top 20 accountancy firms in the UK.

MHA MacIntyre Hudson acquired Birmingham based Shoesmiths earlier in the year to further strengthen both the client portfolio and offering of its Midland’s based business.

MHA MacIntyre Hudson is also celebrating news that they have been shortlisted in two prestigious categories in this year’s British Accountancy Awards with the firm’s Tax and Audit teams nominated in their respective categories.

Commenting on the recent success of the firm, Partner at the Birmingham office Chris Barlow said;

“As a firm we are not driven by league tables but it is a very useful benchmark for monitoring our progress but of course it’s very pleasing to feature in the UK’s top twenty firms based on our 2016 financial performance. We are more pleased by the fact that the breadth and depth of the work we are doing for clients is translating into quantifiable results. MHA MacIntyre Hudson in Birmingham continues to raise its profile and presence in the local market and the acquisition of the highly regarded Shoesmiths earlier in the year demonstrates our commitment to grow and develop in this region.”
