The Skills Factory Fully Funded bite sized courses are continuing with more topics and dates that have just been announced. These includes courses on Building Technologies and more in depth courses on LEAN manufacturing as well as additional dates on the other range of courses (Autocad, Manufacturing Quality Control, Pneumatics and Hydraulics and Welding)

In response to the feedback from our initial courses, we’re now running new courses on Microsoft Excel,. These courses have just been finalised and will help you build formulas, use graphs effectively, use pivot tables and use the power of the lookup. 

Running from May, the new courses on Building Technologies and Technical Construction will cover such topics as:-
  • Heat producing technologies
  • Central Heating Wiring - Zone Valve Systems
  • Combined Power and Water Conservation Technologies
  • Plus much more…
These bite sized courses of 2-3 hours, are fully funded by the European Social Fund at no charge to you or your business.

Application of LEAN courses 
including dealing with 8 wastes, Kaizen and visual management and new in depth topics on Leading LEAN teams, 8D/problem solving, effective action planning and more

Autocad
including the user interface, style commands, transformation command and using solid modelling

Half day courses in Welding
Upskill your welding process in MIG, TIG and MMA. Also includes positional welding techniques and Aluminium welding

Manufacturing Quality Control
Upskill your workforce with Control Plans, Advanced Product Quality Planning, Measurement Systems Analysis and more

Half day courses in Microsoft Excel
including filtering and sorting, the power of lookup and pivot tables

Pneumatics and Hydraulics
Courses designed to understand the safety, pressure and flow of hydraulic systems. Also build, test and maintenance techniques for basic hydraulic systems
