Early Stage Technical Feasibility Studies, Industrial Reseach Awards and Late Stage Awards all available now. The aim of this round of funding is to increase the pace and scale of uptake of agricultural innovation by farmers in developing countries.
Up to £1m grant funding per project. Deadline for applications 2nd November 2016
Low emission freight and logistics trial
Consortia can apply for a share of up to £24 million to trial or develop low emission vehicles or on-vehicle technologies.
Stream 1 will fund projects to trial vehicles and on-vehicle technology in the real world. It will support small trial fleets of low emission vehicles (HGVs and vans) and their refuelling / charging infrastructure.
Stream 2 will fund projects to develop or trial innovative and disruptive on-vehicle technology, systems or business models. These must reduce emissions in the real world.
Up to £3m grant funding per project. Must be collaborative and business-led. Deadline for applications 19th October 2016
Robotics and autonomous systems applications
Innovate UK and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) are to invest up to £5 million in innovation projects to stimulate new partnerships across robotics and autonomous systems (RAS).
Proposals should show how they can speed up the development of RAS technologies towards demonstration and commercialisation. Projects may focus on technical feasibility, industrial research or experimental development.
A business must lead the project. Projects with costs of £100,000 or above must be collaborative. Up to £350k grant funding per project. Deadline for applications 26th October 2016
