Taylor's are proud sponsors of Ryan Smith-British Truck Racing Champion of 2016. Â We had over 350 Taylors colleagues, friends and family all supporting Ryan who had a very successful weekend achieving 2 x 1st places, 2 x 2nd places and 1 x 4th place.
For most of our visitors it was their first experience of truck racing and from the feedback we have received this week it won't be their last!
The images above show Rebecca Taylor, daughter of Alan Taylor leading the field in the second race acting as the Pace Truck. Â Although nervous Rebecca loved the experience but will leave the serious racing to Ryan!
The second image show the Taylor's VIP Event Trailer which proved to be a great base for guests to take a seat and share the excitement of watching the running repairs being carried out by the mechanics between races. Â The prosecco, real ales and cider were flowing along with a buffet and bbq.
The third image shows the Alan Taylor and family with 11 Taylor's vehicles that took part in the Convoy in the Park around the Donington Circuit.
Taylor's HGV Driver Training School were on hand to invite the public to get behind the wheel of a HGV truck. Â The response was overhwlming and our Team were busy from 8.30 - 5.30pm to ensure that no-one missed out on the experience.
A successful weekend for everyone involved and congratulations to Ryan Smith (shown centre below) who gave us plenty to celebrate.
