1 BACKGROUND AND KEY DETAILS OF PAINT 360 LTD
We re-engineer waste paint back into brand new paint which has been tried, tested and developed in conjunction with the trade. Each litre contains a minimum 65% recycled content, while competing on quality and price with premium brands. We collect waste paint from waste management companies, councils and contractors, increasing recycling rates and delivering a true closed loop service to our clients.
2. PROJECT SPECIFICATION
We are looking to procure the following equipment:
Item 1
- IBC mixing machine 1 (1000 to 2,500) To homogenise and disperse ingredients fully through the opening at the top of the IBC with a 7.5 KW motor
- IBC mixing machine 1 (1000 to 2,500) To homogenise and disperse ingredients fully through the opening at the top of the IBC with a 15 KW motor
Items 2
To manufacture and supply new components for 6 mixer units presently at Paint 360. There are 2 different size mixers being used which will require different size accessories. This includes the following:
- manufacture and supply five new 316 stainless steel drive shaft complete with new design mixer head (paddle) fitted as required to suit the mixers with the 5.5 kW drives.
- manufacture and supply a larger shaft and a larger mixer head (paddle) to a sixth mixer driven by a 5.7 kW motor. The design and materials must be the same for all the mixers.

18.5 KW motor VSD dual speed air compressor @ 97.7cfm, 8 Bar
Item 4
To automate manual oxford filter housings including the supply of:
- two 3 phase motor/gearbox assemblies, Mounting brackets, drive pins and bolts. Provide two start stop contactors and cables.
- a control box to control both motors independently, housing an Isolator, and start stop controls.

Capacity/Capability
We need to be confident that you have the right capacity and capability in the relevant area. Market experience. It is important that suppliers understand the environment of a warehouse or similar environment and therefore previous experience in this sector will be considered.
Financial Viability
Before commencing business with you, we may ask you to submit Report & Accounts for review and we will check for bankruptcy status, non-payment of statutory contributions, etc
Quality
We will decide on the level of quality required and indicate this to you at the appropriate time. Where industry standards apply we will seek evidence of application of these standards.

The Tenders will be evaluated to ascertain the most economically advantageous tender in determining the appointment. The award will be based upon the evaluation of the proposals submitted in response to the documents supplied, relevant technical references, a price and quality scoring mechanism and the results of negotiations.
Regard will be had, not only to the prices tendered, but also to the following criteria:
- Quality and reliability of product [25%]
- Able to deliver within required timescales, quality of service & experience relevant to the project [25%]
- Pricing of air compressor and value for money [25%]
- Environmental and energy saving factors, to the maximum extent permissible by relevant legislation; Weighting: [25%]
