Tensile
Testing
The Tensile or tension test is used to test how a material will react to forces
being applied in tension. By performing these tests, you will discover the
materials strength along with how much it will elongate. As you continue to
pull on the material until it breaks you will obtain a complete tensile
profile.
Flexural Testing
The Flexural test is used to test the materials flexural strength. kA Testing Facility
offer a 3-point test where force is applied to a single point on the sample
material bending it into a ÂVÂ shape. This test is ideal for testing of a
specific location on your material.
Compression
Testing
The Compression test is the simulation of a crushing load onto a material. By
undergoing a compression test you can determine the elastic limit, proportional
limit, yield point/strength & compressive strength of your product.
