Acres complete the manufacture and assembly of two new forklift truck battery changing units destined for Europe.
As part of an ongoing relationship with Hoppecke Batterien, Acres produce a number of bespoke forklift truck battery changing units to suit customer requirements. Each unit is customised to suit the range of forklift truck batteries used by the customers fleet of fork-lifts. The product has improved incrementally over the past 10 years resulting in improved reliability and user safety.
The Acres battery changing unit solution is fixed to a Powered Pallet Truck providing a fast and efficient mobile battery changing solution for 24 hour warehouse operations. The solution is powered by a hydraulic power pack which, in partnership with a pair of powerful magnets exchanges batteries between forklift trucks and battery charging racks.
Acres are currently exporting custom machines to Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, Poland, Holland, Slovakia, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, South Africa and China as well as serving the UK.
