voestalpine Rotec receives prestigious award from Jaguar Land Rover
voestalpine Rotec Ltd has been presented with a prestigious award for outstanding quality and supply performance. Senior team members from Jaguar Land Rover joined staff at Rotec on Tuesday 16th August to celebrate this achievement, where Managing Director Guy Hitchman was presented with the esteemed JLRQ plaque by STA Senior Manager Tom Blakeman and Senior Purchasing Manager Seamus McGrath.
Gaining this distinguished award will offer more opportunities for Rotec to work with Jaguar Land Rover on future projects, and provides testimony of their high level of service to both existing and potential new customers. This will support Rotec as they continue to drive their objective of delivering engineering excellence, enabling continued investment in in-house engineering capabilities through apprenticeships and further training of the existing team.
Speaking about the award, Guy Hitchman said: ÂIt is tremendous to receive such an accolade, which is a reflection of the commitment and hard work of the entire workforce. This achievement forms part of our strategic plan for growth and formalises our business relationship with Jaguar Land Rover.Â
Rotec manufactures tubular steel components for the automotive industry, employing around 70 people at their Hinckley site. In recent years the company has invested over £1,000,000 in new technology and ground improvements to ensure its future success, and with this quality award firmly in their grasp, future business is looking bright.
